Our national parks are more than just landscapes. They are the places where we reconnect with nature, history, and ourselves. But these irreplaceable treasures are often under threat.

Under the last Trump administration, many of the laws that protect our public lands and the agencies that manage them faced administrative challenges and rollbacks. NPCA is preparing for similar challenges in a second Trump administration and in the 119th Congress.  

That’s why we launched the Park Defense Fund, which will strengthen our ability to navigate these challenges and better protect what’s threatened in our parks: critical wildlife habitat, clean air and water, irreplaceable cultural sites, and the visitor experience itself.
