Parks Unite Us

The work of protecting our parks goes far beyond Election Day. National parks rely on all of us, day after day – and today is no exception.

Dear President-Elect Trump,

National parks are one of the few issues that transcend politics and unite the country. After a divisive election, prioritizing parks is one of the best ways to bring people together.

I ask that your admininstration:

  • Work toward a long-term vision for funding a modern National Park System that balances park protection with a skyrocketing number of visitors.

  • Focus on wildlife habitats and corridors to keep parks healthy.

  • Keep supporting new parks that commemorate the entire American story – stories from the Asian American Pacific Islanders, Black, Indigenous, Latino and LGBTQ communities.

National parks represent what is greatest about our nation. They are our common ground, places where all are welcome, where all have a voice, and where all can make a difference.
