JON LAND is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 60 books, including his Texas Ranger Caitlin Strong series. Additionally, Jon has teamed with New York Times bestselling author Heather Graham on a bestselling sci-fi series that includes “The Rising” and “Blood Moon.” His ghostwriting debut, “White Robes and Broken Badges,” comes out in August 2024. In 2019, Jon received the Association of Rhode Island Authors Legacy Award for his lifetime of literary achievements.
JEFF AYERS is the author of several books, his first being a guide to the world of Star Trek novels titled “Voyages of Imagination.” He has reviewed books for The Associated Press and Booklist. Today he pens reviews featured in Criminal Element, Library Journal and First Clue and serves as co-executive director of ThrillerFest. In addition to writing thrillers about national parks with Jon Land under the name A.J. Landau, Jeff is under contract for a nonfiction book at Grand Central Publishing.
JAYME DITTMAR is a filmmaker, dog musher and organizer based in Alaska. She is producer and director of “Paving Tundra,” a documentary about the communities and landscapes of Alaska’s Brooks Range, which are threatened by the proposed Ambler mining road. “Paving Tundra” is an official selection of the Wild & Scenic Film Festival.
The novel "Leave No Trace: A National Parks Thriller," co-written by Jon Land and Jeff Ayers, will be released on February 27th. Politics & Prose will have pre-release copies available for purchase at this event.
